Posts from different blog websites can point each other via trackback.

First, both blog websites should support trackback.

Second, trackback url is different from permanent url for the post.

How to use?

You need a trackback url of other people’s post.

When you write down your post, add the trackback url of other people’s post (your blog website need to support this).

Then, at the other people’s blog,

your post’s title and beginning of the post and link will show up as a trackback (like comments.)

Markdown is used to save

text

into html format.

———–

e.g.,

in Markdown

* Foo
* Bar
* Baz

will be saved

Foo

Bar

Baz

“Slug” is the final bit of the URL from the title.

For example, a post with the title, “A bit about Django” would become, “bit-about-django” automatically.
